IEDT JSC as an institute of the research industrial complex of the RZD Holding actively participates in research activities within the framework of the plans of research and technical development of RZD JSCo (Plan of Research and Technical Development of RZD JSCo).

Key research tasks are related to the development of concepts, programs, feasibility studies of investment and innovation projects, as well as the creation and updating of regulatory and methodological documents.

The intellectual property portfolio of IEDT JSC, comprised of dedicated software complexes developed by IEDT, is expanding every year.

The specialists of IEDT JSC also conduct a detailed ongoing macroeconomic analysis of the main world commodity markets and issue analytical reviews thereunder.

In 2024, the publishing house Gudok, in collaboration with IEDT JSC, launched a large-scale information and analytical project dedicated to the history and contemporary achievements of the railway industry. The project compiles unique materials that comprehensively highlight the global development of railways as well as the activities of international railway associations and organizations such as OSJD, EAEU, BRICS, APEC, SCO  and others.

Over the course of the project, more than 150 materials were prepared and published, including analytical articles, historical overviews, and illustrated reports. The most significant and informative of these are featured in this section of our website, providing access to valuable insights and unique analysis.
