On April 18, 2024, the II International Scientific Conference of Postgrads and Young Scientists “Railway: the Path to the Future” was held at the site of VNIIZhT.
The conference was attended by representatives of the institutes of Russian Railways scientific and industrial complex, including specialists from IEDT JSC.
The work of the conference was divided into four scientific areas:
Economic Science of Transport: Challenges and Solutions;
Track infrastructure, carriage facilities and materials science;
Traction rolling stock of railways;
Organization of rail transportation processes, automation and management of technological transportation processes.
As part of the work of section “Economic Science of Transport: Challenges and Solutions”, Kudiyarov S.P., leading engineer of the Macroeconomics and Forecasting Methodology Center, made a report on the topic “Use of integrated transport accessibility in calculating cargo base of transport and logistics centers.”
Tretyak E.A., Senior Researcher of the Center for the Development of Railway Transport of IEDT JSC, introduced her colleagues to the problems of developing heavy-haul traffic on approaches to the ports of Azov-Black Sea basin within the framework of the fourth section “Organization of rail transportation processes, automation and management of technological transportation processes”.
