On March 21, 2024, the Chief Engineers Board of RZD JSCo held a meeting in Moscow under chairmanship of A.M. Khramtsov, Deputy Director General - Chief Engineer of RZD JSCo, in which a IEDT representative took part.

A.V. Kurdyukova, Head of the Center for the Development of Railway Transport of IEDT JSC, made a report on the topic: “Development prospects of RZD energy complex until 2036 and the long-term perspective until 2050, taking into account the reorientation of freight flows and the aging of fixed assets.”

Alesya Vladimirovna presented a list of sections of the Long-term Electrification Plan until 2050, consisting of 69 sections, in the context of three railway domains (North-Western, Southern and Eastern domains), and also identified promising sections considered for the electrification of RZD railway network until 2050.

In addition, information on the key performance indicators during the electrification of Rtishchevo – Kochetovka section, developed by specialists from IEDT JSC, was reflected.
