On October 26, 2023 the Joint Academic Board of RZD JSCo held a meeting to discuss the issues pertaining to formation of scientifically based proposals for the implementation and target results of research and development aimed at increasing the efficiency of the Eastern Polygon, in the context of assigned tasks for throughput and carrying capacity development.

V.V. Panin, Cand. of Eng. Sc., Deputy Director General of IEDT JSC, presented a report on the topic "Application of analytical modeling in assessing the impact of track repair schemes on the total carrying capacity of the Baikal-Amur and Trans-Siberian Railways".

Report aroused keen interest among the participants of the meeting. The achievements of IEDT JSC were repeatedly mentioned in the other speakers reports.
