On January 25, 2024, the Joint Academic Board of RZD JSCo held a meeting to discuss the issues pertaining to formation of scientifically based approaches to targeted development of limiting sections of railways.

K.A. Kapunov, Deputy Head of the Center of Railroad Operations and Interoperability of Transport Systems of IEDT JSC, presented a report on the topic "Scientific and practical problems and tasks for the development of limiting sections of the railway network".

Kirill Alexandrovich in his report touched upon the problem of shortages of transportation capacity, presented a classification of measures of influence in the context of depletion of infrastructure and transportation resources, and introduced colleagues to the key parameters of railway infrastructure development up to 2030.
