On January 16, 2024, the Academic Board of IEDT JSC held a meeting dedicated to the issues of improvement methods for economic assessment of processes and indicators of railway transport.

At the meeting, E.A. Lakhankin, Head of the Center of Railroad Operations and Interoperability of Transport Systems of IEDT JSC presented a report on "Methodology for economic assessment of the consequences of canceling or postponing work on track renewal by all types of repairs, including as a result of canceling or postponing “gaps", developed by IEDT JSC.

Academic specialists from Institute of Economics and Finance, RUT (MIIT) (V.A. Podsorin, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Department of Economics and management in transport, and I.A. Epishkin, Cand. Econ. Sc., Head of Labor Economics and Human Resource Management Department) presented a report on methodological foundations of labor productivity management in the context of modernization and development of railway transport infrastructure.

The results of the author’s research “Assessing the reliability of organizational and technological processes of infrastructure facilities in transport” were reflected in report by I.V. Yanshina, Cand. of Eng. Sc., Siberian State Transport University (SGUPS).

There was a discussion and exchange of views on the reports with the invited participants of the meeting, among whom were representatives of departments and directorates of RZD JSCo and industry science.
