The anniversary issue of the scientific journal "Vestnik VNIIZHT" published a team article of authors of JSC "ITED" under the control of Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, Head of the Department of Technological support of automated Systems of the Department of Railway Operation and interaction of transport systems A.F. Borodin on the topic "Assessment of the balance of carrying capacity of polygons of the railway network".

The purpose of the presented research is to develop methodological solutions for estimating the balance of railway transportation capacity and substantiating the procedure for implementing infrastructure measures in the conditions of increasing dynamics of cargo presentation for transportation and tight deadlines for infrastructure repair and reconstruction.

The research was based on data from automated forecasting of infrastructure and transportation resources of the railway network using hybrid mathematical models.
