An IEDT employee has been awarded the "Innovator of Russian Railways JSC" title

For many years of active and fruitful scientific work, implementation of innovative ideas, efficient development and implementation of measures contributing to the improvement of railway transportation efficiency and train movement safety, by the order of JSC Russian Railways No. 104/P dated March 20, 2024, Alexey Leontievich Shchepanov, Head of the Department of Digital Technologies for Transportation Management at the Center of Railroad Operations and Interoperability of Transport Systems of IEDT JSC, has been awarded the title "Innovator of JSC Russian Railways".

Alexey Leontievich has been working in railway transportation for over 20 years, ensuring the development of the following automated systems:

  • Software for Organizing Wagon Flow Technology (ASOV);

  • Simulation Resource Model for the Use of JSC Russian Railways Infrastructure (AS PROGRESS);

  • AS Passport NPS as part of the implementation of the Unified Simulation Model of Infrastructure Development Project for JSC Russian Railways (AS Passport NPS. EIM);

  • AS PROGRESS as part of the implementation of the Unified Simulation Model of Infrastructure Development Project for JSC Russian Railways (AS PROGRESS. EIM);

  • AS PROGRESS. Assessment of the functional capabilities of railway infrastructure elements for handling freight and empty freight wagon volumes (AS PROGRESS. RVI);

  • Automated System for Organizing Wagon Flows in International Traffic (ASOV-MS).

On March 21, 2024, the award was personally presented by Oleg Valentinovich Belozyorov, General Director of Russian Railways. We wholeheartedly congratulate our colleague on this honorable title!
