On August 8, 2023, the Scientific and Technical Conference “Railway Science. Here and Now”, dedicated to topical issues of design and operation technologies on the network of modern rolling stock, was held on the VNIKTI JSC platform.

The scientific event, organized at a high level, has become one of the significant events related to the implementation of the tasks of the youth policy of the Scientific Industry Complex of RZD JSCo.

At the conference, K.Yu. Nikolaev, Senior Researcher, IEDT JSC, Cand. of Eng. Sc., presented a report on "Study of rolling stock parameters for use in tram-train systems in Russia". Sugorovsky A.V., Senior Researcher, IEDT JSC, Cand. of Eng. Sc., took part in the discussion of the reports.
