IEDT congratulates our colleagues, partners, and veterans of the industry on Railway Worker's Day — a holiday that unites generations of professionals who have dedicated their lives to the development of the nation's railways.
For nearly two centuries, railroads have stood as a symbol of progress, forward movement, and the enduring unity of our country. In this year of the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory — declared the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland in Russia and the Year of Railway Glory at Russian Railways — it is especially important to remember the heroic contributions of railway workers, both on the front lines and on the home front, in times of war and peace.
Today, the railway industry is implementing projects of national strategic importance — from the construction of high-speed rail lines and the development of digital technologies to ensuring technological sovereignty. We are confident that the strength, experience, and commitment of railway professionals will enable them to meet any challenge with honor.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all current and former railway workers for their professionalism, dedication, and loyalty to their chosen path. By preserving traditions, we continue to move forward with confidence, building on the accomplishments of the industry. May inspiration, the support of loved ones, and intergenerational continuity help us reach new heights. Happy Railway Worker's Day!
