On March 26, 2026, the XIX Interuniversity Student Olympiad “Management in Transport and Logistics” was held at the State University of Management (GUU). In the “Research Project” category, the winning team was a joint group of students supervised by Natalia V. Filaretova, Head of Department at the Passenger Transport Development Center of JSC IEDT, and Artyom O. Merenkov, Associate Professor of the Department of Transport Systems Management at GUU, Cand. Econ. Sc. 

The team presented a study titled “Socio-Economic Aspects of Improving Transport Accessibility of Cities Around the Moscow Agglomeration.”

Cooperation between GUU and IEDT in the field of student project-based learning was launched for the first time in the 2025/2026 academic year and is already demonstrating strong results.
