IEDT at the HSE Conference

On April 22, 2026, Roman Viktorovich Martyshkin, Deputy Head of the Center for Macroeconomics and International Projects, participated as an expert speaker in the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Dimensions of Eurasian Integration: Transport and Logistics, Energy and Food Security,” organized by the Institute of Public Administration and Municipal Management of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.

As part of the conference, participants discussed current issues of the foreign economic agenda involving representatives of the diplomatic corps of Arab countries, Russian and international regulators, and Russian companies from the transport, energy, agricultural, and financial sectors.

In his presentation, Roman Viktorovich assessed the role of the Strait of Hormuz in global trade flows and analyzed additional opportunities for realizing Russia’s export potential in the context of escalating conflict in the Middle East.

The conference was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions from partner countries, as well as representatives of Russian regulatory bodies and the corporate sector.
