From June 18 to 21, the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) was held in St. Petersburg — one of the world’s key platforms for discussing strategic directions in economic development and shaping long-term solutions.

Irina Gennadievna Magnushevskaya, General Director of IEDT, took part in the forum as a member of the delegation of Russian Railways (JSC "RZD").

One of the central topics of SPIEF was the discussion of prospects for the implementation of the high-speed rail project Moscow – St. Petersburg. The project was addressed in a dedicated thematic session with participation from top-level executives.

During the forum, Irina Gennadievna also took part in a number of meetings and discussions focused on the development of railway logistics, expanding cooperation in education, and other pressing issues in the transport sector.

Participation in SPIEF provided an opportunity to establish new business contacts and exchange experience with leading experts in transport and economics.
