IEDT at the XIII All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference with International Participation

On October 24-25, 2024, representatives of IEDT participated in the XIII All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference, "Polytransport Systems", held in Novosibirsk. The event, organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Siberian State Transport University (SGUPS), brought together leading transport specialists and researchers to discuss strategic infrastructure and logistics development issues.

IEDT was represented by:

  • Irina Gennadievna Magnushevskaya, General Director, who spoke at the subsection "Challenges in Transport Logistics Development for Russian Regions" with a presentation titled "Logistical Connectivity of Russia: The Impact of Transport Corridor Development on Economic Growth." Her talk addressed the role of international transport corridors in regional economic development and integration within Russia.

  • Andrey Fedorovich Borodin, Head of the Railway Operations and Transport Systems Interaction Center, presented at the conference plenary on "Developing Railway Transport Capacity: New Challenges, Solutions, and Digital Tools." He, along with Senior Research Fellow Konstantin Yuryevich Nikolaev and other colleagues, spoke at the "Transport Management and Economics" section. Their joint presentation, "Logistical, Infrastructure, and Resource Constraints in Wagon Flow Management," covered optimization strategies for wagon flows and increasing railway throughput.

  • Alina Terentyevna Romanova, Chief Researcher, presented at the "Challenges in Transport Logistics Development for Russian Regions" subsection with a talk titled "Coordinating Digital Ecosystem Activities in the Transport and Logistics Market." Her discussion highlighted digital technology alignment to enhance coordination among market participants.

The presentations underscored IEDT's contribution to transport infrastructure development and current research in logistics and transport management.
