In accordance with decree of V.V. Putin, Russian President, the World Youth Festival (WYF-2024) was held on the Sirius Federal Territory in Sochi on March 1-7.

More than 20 thousand delegates from more than 188 countries of the world took part in the Festival - young scientists, diplomats, experts in the field of international relations, journalists, entrepreneurs, cultural figures, working youth, students and volunteers.

Russian Railways JSC was one of the key partners of the event. The Stand of Russian Railways was organized, in which RZD team took part, numbering about 50 people from all over the country. A.V. Zakovorotny, II category engineer of the Macroeconomics and Forecasting Methodology Center of IEDT JSC, took part in the work of the Stand as one of the organizers and specialists in communications with foreign guests.

The main task of our employee was to introduce Russian Railways JSC to foreign guests, due to his fluency in English and experience in working with youth at the IEDT Youth Council.

Also within the framework of the Festival, a business program on youth entrepreneurship was formed. E.V. Dmitrieva and A.P. Maslova, employees of the Sector of Logistics Interaction Between Different Modes of Transport, Transport Market Development Center of IEDT JSC took part in the “Business and Entrepreneurship” track. Participation in the track allowed to contribute to discussion of current issues and formation of sustainable, long-term and equal interethnic ties among young people.
