Specialists from the Industry Standards Development Center of JSC "IEDT" have completed work on the Methodology for Calculating the Cost of Maintenance of Fire Extinguishing Systems, Security, Fire, and Security-Fire Alarm Systems at Stationary Facilities of Russian Railways (RZD). 

The methodology was developed as part of the 2024 Scientific and Technical Development Plan of Russian Railways and was approved by RZD Directive No. 3408/r dated December 28, 2024, for trial implementation. The document aims to establish a unified financial policy for the maintenance of fire safety systems and includes Departmental Unit Rates and Departmental Elemental Estimate Norms. 

The trial implementation of the methodology is scheduled for the first half of 2025, involving relevant departments and organizations. Full deployment is planned for 2026.
