On May 27, 2026, a successful dissertation defense took place, and Elena Valeryevna Dmitrieva, an employee of the Center for Transport Market Development at JSC “Institute for Transport Economics and Development” (IEDT), was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.

The dissertation proposes solutions for the economic justification and development of modern methods for forecasting railway transportation of bulk cargo at the regional level.

The academic supervisor of the research was Doctor of Economics, Professor N.P. Tereshina.
