On June 11–12, 2026, the V International Scientific and Practical Conference “Tikhomirov Readings: Technology and Quality of the Transportation Process” was held at the Belarusian State University of Transport in Gomel, with participation from employees of JSC “IEDT”.

Deputy Head of the Center – Head of the Department for Technological Support of Automated Systems and Simulation Modeling, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor A.F. Borodin delivered a plenary report titled “Current Challenges and Solutions for the Development and Utilization of Railway Infrastructure and Transportation Resources”.

A.E. Ogurtsov, Engineer of Category II at the Center for Passenger Transportation Development, addressed the актуal issues of assessing passenger transport prospects in his presentation, “Identification of Zones of High, Competitive, and Low Passenger Demand for High-Speed Rail Services When Scheduling Stops for High-Speed Trains Along Their Routes”.

Engineers from the Center for Railway Operations and Transport Systems Interaction presented reports on improving railway operations: “Dynamic Organization of Wagon Flows Under Changing Available Infrastructure Resources Across the Railway Network” (speaker: D.Yu. Ershov) and “On the Parameters for the Use of Regulating Capacities of Station Track Infrastructure Under Conditions of Highly Intensive Suburban and Urban Passenger Traffic” (speaker: V.V. Prozorov).
