IEDT Participated in the INNOLOG International Conference

Deputy General Director of IEDT Alexey Anatolyevich Zamkovoy took part in the annual INNOLOG international conference “Dry Port Yekaterinburg: Logistics of Reliable Economic Connections”.

The event took place on June 19, 2026, at the Institute of Economics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

A.A. Zamkovoy delivered a report titled “Transport and Logistics Infrastructure of the Ural Region and the Potential for Access to Arctic Ports”. The report focused on the development of terminal and logistics infrastructure of the Yekaterinburg railway hub, as well as the railway infrastructure of Russia’s Arctic zone with access to the Trans-Arctic transport corridor.

As part of the conference, a number of strategic issues shaping the future of the transport industry in the Urals and the country as a whole were discussed:
▪️positioning of the Ural region as a powerful logistics hub at the intersection of global transport corridors, opening new horizons for international cooperation;
▪️integration of the Urals into the transport system of the Arctic and the Northern Sea Route;
▪️forecasts for the development of the region’s traditional industries — metallurgy and construction materials industry, which continue to play a key role in the economy;
▪️assessment of transport volume prospects and expansion of access to Arctic ports as new opportunities for increasing export potential;
▪️digital transformation of logistics;
▪️implementation of digital platforms and services as tools to enhance transparency, speed, and manageability of cargo flows.
