On November 26, 2024, the 42nd session of the Interuniversity Scientific and Practical Seminar "Economics of Railway Transport" was held at the Higher School of Economics (HSE). The event was organized by the HSE Institute for Economics and Regulation of Infrastructure Industries.

One of the respondents to the keynote presentation was Vitaly Vladimirovich Panin, Candidate of Engineering Science and Deputy General Director of the Institute for Transport Economics and Development (IEDT). He delivered a report titled "Assessment of the Impact of Implementing Projects from RZD's Digital Transformation Strategy on Transportation Process Indicators." The keynote presentation, prepared by Dr. Olga Vladimirovna Efimova, focused on the methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of digital transformations in transport, including an analysis of approaches to forecasting the financial efficiency of digital projects.
