On November 26–27, 2024, the IX International Forum of the Financial University, titled "New Economic Policy 2.0: From Adaptation to Breakthrough," was held in Moscow and at regional venues. Leading public officials, business leaders, experts, scientists, and entrepreneurs discussed key strategies and directions for developing the Russian economy, as well as immediate and medium-term goals.
Roman Viktorovich Martyskin, a representative of the Institute for Transport Economics and Development (IEDT), participated in two sessions of the forum organized by the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis of the Financial University on November 27. During the conference "Big Data and Intelligent Systems in the Financial and Industrial Sectors of the Economy," he delivered a report titled "Potential Applications of Machine Learning Technologies in Railway Transport." At the conference "New Economic Policy – New Modeling Methods?" Roman presented on the topic "The Use of Mathematical Methods for Solving Applied Problems in the Transport Sector."
The discussions highlighted pressing challenges and practical solutions in the transport industry, industrial sector, and IT. The forum's conferences provided participants with an opportunity to exchange experiences and foster new collaborations between academia and business.
