On November 27, 2024, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Railway Transport and Technologies (RTT-2024)" was held in Yekaterinburg, organized by the Ural State University of Railway Transport (UrGUPS). The Institute for Transport Economics and Development (IEDT) was represented by Deputy General Director Sergey Valeryevich Rumyantsev, who delivered a presentation titled "On the Prospects for the Development of the Ural-Siberian Railway Network."
In his speech, Sergey Valeryevich highlighted key aspects of the Ural-Siberian network's development, including the construction of new railway lines and the modernization of existing infrastructure. He emphasized the implementation of advanced technological solutions aimed at increasing throughput capacity.
