IEDT Presented Reports at the International Conference RILTTRANS-2025

From October 29 to 31, 2025, Saint Petersburg hosted the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Development of Infrastructure and Logistics Technologies in Transport Systems” (RILTTRANS-2025), organized by Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Roszheldor, and Russian Railways (RZD).

IEDT traditionally took an active part in the conference. On behalf of General Director Sergey Valeryevich Rumyantsev and Deputy General Director Vitaly Vladimirovich Panin, reports were presented by Dr. Sci. (Eng.) Andrey Fedorovich Borodin, Head of Department. In his presentations, he outlined the institute’s key developments dedicated to the enhancement of railway network capacity and the planning of transport infrastructure capabilities.

At the thematic sessions, IEDT experts presented several research studies: – Roman Viktorovich Martyshkin, PhD (Psych.), Deputy Head of Center, and Maria Nikolaevna Polyakova, Deputy Head of Department, spoke about the strategy for the development of Russian railways within the system of international transport corridors; – Maria Polyakova also presented a report on “Development of Throughput and Carrying Capacity of Approaches to Seaports: New Solutions”; – Sergey Sergeyevich Grekov, Lead Software Engineer, discussed digital tools for the coordinated development of public and private railway infrastructure; – Konstantin Yuryevich Nikolaev, Senior Researcher, PhD (Eng.), delivered a presentation on “Automated Calculation of Corrective Actions for Railcars with Forecasted Delivery Delay Risk: Implementation and Development Prospects.”

The presentations by IEDT representatives sparked great interest within the professional community and made a significant contribution to the discussion on the future of Russia’s transport infrastructure.
