IEDT Shared Its Expertise in Asset Management at RUT (MIIT) Training Courses

This week, the Russian University of Transport (RUT, MIIT) hosted a training program for Russian Railways (RZD) employees on real estate management and contract administration.

Representing the Institute for Transport Economics and Development (IEDT), Ekaterina Istomina, Head of the Consulting Support Department, delivered two lecture modules on key aspects of managing the company’s asset portfolio.

In the lecture titled “RZD’s Asset Complex: Principles of Accounting and Management,” Ekaterina provided an in-depth overview of the company’s property portfolio, its structure and features, legal aspects of accounting and asset protection, and demonstrated the functionality of the information system used for property management.

The second lecture, “Analysis of Asset Utilization Efficiency: Main Types of Real Estate Transactions,” focused on methodologies for assessing the efficiency of various types of real estate use, the specifics of regulatory documentation, and the main types of property transactions employed by the company.
