IEDT’s Participation in an International Scientific Conference

On October 23, 2025, the Institute of Economics and Finance of the Russian University of Transport (MIIT) hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Conceptual Issues of Economics and Management in Transport: A Look into the Future.”

Representatives of the Institute for Transport Economics and Development (IEDT) presented current research topics related to the development of railway transport, delivering the following reports:

  • “Antifragile Logistics: Designing Transport Systems That Grow Stronger Through Crises” — by Roman V. Martyshkin, Candidate in Psychology, Deputy Head of the IEDT Center for Macroeconomics and International Projects;

  • “Capabilities of Railway Transport Corridors Under the Maritime Blockade of the Baltic and the Azov–Black Sea Basins” — by Sergey P. Kudiyarov, Leading Engineer of the IEDT Center for Macroeconomics and International Projects.

The conference, which included participation from international colleagues, provided a platform for sharing research experience in the field of transport system development across various countries, including Russia, China, and Mongolia.
