On November 15-17, 2023, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Academician Vladimir Nikolaevich Obraztsov - Founder of Transport Science” was held at the Institute of Management and Digital Technologies, RUT (MIIT), in which employees of IEDT JSC took part.
V.V. Panin, Cand. of Eng. Sc., Deputy Director General, at the plenary session presented a report on the topic “Development of the infrastructure of the Eastern Polygon (second stage)”, in which he spoke about the model for passing trains along the Eastern Polygon, taking into account the implementation of the 2nd stage activities in connection with the reorientation of transport and logistics routes for cargo transportation from the west to east direction.
A.V. Kurdyukova, Head of the Center for the Development of Railway Transport outlined the key problems and priority measures in the development of freight traffic on the backbone railway network in her speech on the topic “Development of freight transportation on the railway backbone network (tasks and problems of implementation)”, including digital transformation of railway transport to correct these problems.
A.V. Sugorovsky, Senior Researcher, Cand. of Eng. Sc., made a report on the topic “The influence of the reference (intercepting) station on the required number and load of tracks, delays and mastered train flow.” The report presented the results of modeling in the software “Simulation modeling of the operation of railway lines and nodes (IM ZhNU)”.
During the conference, experts discussed the development of railway, road, water and air transport, as well as personnel policy.
The work was carried out in five sections:
Trends in the development of railway stations and transport hubs. Interaction of transport modes;
Problems of improving the technology of operational work in freight and passenger transportation;
Preparation of future personnel: transformation of the transport and logistics market;
Development prospects of transport and logistics complexes;
Transport systems of urban agglomerations: promising technical and technological solutions, business and innovation.
