On 2 of November 2022, JSC "ITED" hosted a meeting of the Academic Council with the participation of a wide range of specialists from the divisions of JSC "Russian Railways" and industry scientists.

At the event, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Technological support of automated systems of the Department of Railway Operation and interaction of Transport Systems Borodin A.F. presented the results of research of JSC "ITED", carried out within the framework of the plan of the NTR of JSC "Russian Railways", to develop a scheme for the placement of marshalling yards for the period up to 2036 in coordination with development plans port nodes and polygons.

The head of the sector of nodes and stations of the Department of railway Operation and interaction of transport systems Gorbunov G.G. made a report on his dissertation research on the theme "Methods of substantiating the placement and development of marshalling yards taking into consideration the uncertainty of prospective wagon traffic".

The research team from the IEF RUT (MIIT) presented the results of the study "Reduction of seasonal unevenness of loading of railway infrastructure as a factor of its effective use" (speakers: Doctor of Economics, First Deputy Chairman of the OUS JSC "RUSSIAN Railways" Macheret D.A., associate professors Ph.D. in Economics Razuvaev A.D. and Ph.D. in Economics Ledney A.Y.).
