From April 20 to 24, the XL meeting of the OSJD General Directors Conference was held in Astana. The event was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the organization and brought together delegates from 30 countries across Europe and Asia.

As part of the Russian Railways delegation, headed by CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Russian Railways, O.V. Belozerov, Deputy General Director of JSC “Institute for Transport Economics and Development” (IEDT), Alexey Anatolyevich Zamkovoy, took part in the event.

The key topic of discussion was strengthening transport connectivity across the Eurasian space. Participants held a productive dialogue on synchronizing efforts to ensure seamless transportation, developing freight and passenger traffic, advancing digitalization, and expanding scientific and technical cooperation.

Following the conference, the OSJD work program for 2027 and beyond was adopted. The document outlines future strategic priorities and directions for further development within the international organization.
