Today, together with the entire country, IEDT celebrates Russian Science Day.

It is the day when 300th anniversary of the Academy of Sciences in Russia is celebrated (established on February 8, 1724, by order of Peter the Great by Decree of the Governing Senate). This became the foundation for the subsequent formation of great Russian scientists who gave the world outstanding scientific discoveries.

Today, the rapid development of railway and other modes of transport is impossible without continuous scientific research, the introduction of advanced technologies and effective management decisions.

Every day Russian industry scientists strive to improve the accessibility, comfort and speed of railways through hard work in their research and teaching activities.

It is symbolic that today IEDT JSC and Russian Academy of Railways entered into a Cooperation Agreement with the aim of effectively using the scientific and innovative potential of the parties to carry out research and implement projects in the field of transport, training highly qualified personnel and scientific exchange of knowledge.
