IEDT participated in the RZD network school

In Abakan, from May 21 to 23, the network school of best practices for employees of the commercial unit of the Central Directorate for Terminal and Warehouse Complex Management (CM) took place. Key topics included the discussion of organizing new services at the directorate's terminals, implementing the strategy for developing the terminal and logistics business, and the effective use of the assets of RZD holding.

The network school was attended by Alexey Belsky, Head of the CM, Anastasia Kotkovskaya, Deputy Head of the Corporate Property Department of JSC "Russian Railways," Dmitry Gorokh, Deputy Head of the Corporate Transport Service Center, Evgeny Fadeev, Chief Engineer of JSC "RZD Business Asset," Dmitry Anoshkin, Deputy General Director of JSC "RZD Logistics," Roman Martyshkin, Deputy Head of the Macroeconomics and Forecasting Methodology Center of IEDT JSC, representatives of the management of the Krasnoyarsk Railway, and more than 50 employees from regional directorates for terminal and warehouse complex management.

As noted by Alexey Belsky, such network schools are regularly held by the directorate. However, the significance of the current event is high because it allows participants to discuss aspects of their work in the context of rapidly reorienting logistics flows. Specifically, Alexey Belsky highlighted the main strategic development directions of the CM for the coming years, including the maintenance and development of a network of universal cargo terminals with a priority focus on international transport corridors, as well as the expansion of service capabilities to serve small and medium-sized businesses.

During the network school, a series of strategic sessions took place. They were dedicated to such issues as the implementation of projects "CM-Broker", "RZD-Import", and "CM-Avto", as well as the organization of commercial documentation centers. Participants also visited the site of the region's largest freight sender, the coal company "SUEK-Khakassia".
