IEDT Presented at the Russian Railways Assembly of Railway Heads

From July 18 to 20, 2024, the 16th meeting of the Russian Railways Assembly of Railway Heads was held on the Moscow Railway.

During the event, under the topic "Improving Customer Orientation in Passenger Transport through Service Enhancement, Infrastructure Development and Maintenance, Adjusting the Response System to Passenger Requests, and Defining the Scope of Responsibility for RZD Divisions," Irina Gennadievna Magnushevskaya, Director General of IEDT JSC served as a co-speaker. She spoke on "The Development of Passenger Transport as a Crucial Element for Shaping Russia's Transportation System in the Long Term."

In her presentation, she highlighted strategic plans for developing transportation infrastructure and the introduction of new transportation products, including those being developed by IEDT JSC such as:

  • The organization of high-speed and very high-speed passenger transport;

  • Development of intra-city and suburban transport in the Central Transport Hub (CTH);

  • Development of intra-city and suburban transport in major agglomerations (including the "Mobile City" initiative);

  • Development of tourist railway transport.
