"Conceptual problems of economics and management in transport: a view into the future"

On October 19, 2023, the international conference "Conceptual Problems of Economics and Management in Transport: a look into the future" was held at the Institute of Economics and Finance, RUT (MIIT).

The scientific event was devoted to issues related to the development of theoretical foundations and practical recommendations for the formation of a vision and programs for the long-term development of the transport complex that correspond to the strategic development goals of Russia.

At the conference, employees of IEDT JSC presented reports on the following topics:

  • “Promising directions of scientific and technical development of railways (taking into account the results of research by IEDT JSC in cooperation with institutes of scientific industry complex)” (speaker: Sekushin S.V., Deputy Director General for Science);

  • “Geography demand for rail transportation and logistics solutions” (speaker: Kurdyukova A.V., Head of the Center for the Development of Railway Transport);

  • “The image of the future of railway transport: transportation and logistics” (speaker: Martyshkin R.V., Deputy Head of the Macroeconomics and Forecasting Methodology Center, Cand. Sc. Psychology.);

  • “Import substitution as a condition for the competitiveness of the transport complex in an unstable external environment” (speaker: Kudiyarov S.P., leading engineer of the Macroeconomics and Forecasting Methodology Center);

  • “Assessing the prospects for sustainable development of the North-South international transport corridor in the context of geopolitical transformations” (speaker: Zakovorotny A.V., category II engineer of the Macroeconomics and Forecasting Methodology Center) .
