On April 18, 2024, the National scientific and practical conference “Trends in economic development of the Russian transport complex: Foresight, forecasts and strategies” was held at the Institute of Economics and Finance, RUT (MIIT).
The purpose of the conference was to summarize the experience of studying trends in the economic development of the Russian transport complex, the formation and development of cooperation between transport universities and employers, the exchange of scientific and practical achievements in the development of forecasts, analytics and the use of Foresight technologies.
At the conference, S.V. Sekushin, Deputy Director General, presented a report on the topic “Development of methodology for determining the preliminary construction cost of railway infrastructure facilities at the pre-project stage”.
The report presented the main methodological approaches, the unified procedure and automation tasks implemented by IEDT JSC in determining the preliminary construction cost of railway infrastructure facilities as part of investment justifications, feasibility studies, general development schemes, etc.

Zakovorotny A.V., category II engineer of the Macroeconomics and Forecasting Methodology Center with a report on the topic “Economic assessment of the Russian-Turkish relations impact on the volume of railway transportation.”.
