On July 4, 2024, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at IEDT, dedicated to the development of transport links between Russia and Asian countries, as well as other relevant issues.
In the framework of the event, presentations were made on the following topics:
New Trends and Key Goals of Sustainable Development in Railway Transport. The report was presented by Natalia Petrovna Tereshina, Doctor of Economics, Professor of "Economics and Management in Transport" Department at the Institute of Economics and Finance, RUT (MIIT);
Prospects for the Development of China's Railway Infrastructure. The report was presented by Roman Viktorovich Martyskin, Cand. Sc. Psychology, Deputy Head of the Macroeconomics and Forecasting Methodology Center at IEDT JSC;
Prospects for the Development of Transport Services in the "Russia - Asia" Space under Economic Constraints. The report was presented by Vladimir Vladimirovich Zhakov, Cand. Econ. Sc., Associate Professor of "Economics and Management in Transport" Department at the Institute of Economics and Finance, RUT (MIIT);
Cost Interpretation of Integrated Transport Accessibility in the Placement of Terminal and Logistics Infrastructure Objects. The report on the topic of his dissertation research was presented by Sergey Petrovich Kudiyarov, leading engineer of the Macroeconomics and Forecasting Methodology Center at IEDT JSC.
During the meeting, discussions and exchange of opinions took place on the development of interstate railway communication in modern conditions.
