The energy specialists of the Privolzhskaya Railway have achieved significant operational successes in the outgoing year.

– Dmitry Vladimirovich, what results is the Privolzhskaya Directorate for Energy Supply achieving as it concludes 2024?

– One of our main achievements is the commissioning of the Ovrashnaya traction substation. According to the technology for organizing train traffic on approaches to the ports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin developed by JSC "IEDT", a significant volume of freight traffic is expected to be redirected in the future from the Kochetovka–Liski–Rostov–Timashevskaya–Grechanaya route to the Saratov–Volgograd–Tikhoretskaya–Kozyrki–Grechanaya route.

We can confidently state that our directorate is prepared for both the first and second scenarios. We will also handle the increase in the unified weight standard from 6,000–6,300 tons to 7,100 tons on the section from Sennaya Station of the Privolzhskaya Railway to Vyshesteblievskaya Station of the North Caucasus Railway without breaking the train's mass along the entire route.
