In the spring of 2022, several new services were opened on the Vietnam – Russia route. Andrey Tikhomirov, head of the Department of Macroeconomics and Forecasting Methodology of JSC "ITED", told to "Gudok" that from January to May of this year 37 thousand tons of cargo traveled from Vietnam to Russia by railway, while only 15 thousand tons were transported in this direction during the same period last year.
